Neem oil working for scabies on my pony

A small report from Bahrain.

I have a fellabella pony that has such a low immunity during pregnancy.
She got scabies and the top on the back part of her neck was covered in balding, itching patches.

The treatment the vet gave her did not do anything. So my husband who takes neem capsules daily (I make them myself) and is a convert, and I
took her home to quarantine her.

I mixed up a cup of organic coldpressed neem oil that is for sale at a local garden center as an insecticide. I mixed it up with about 1/3 cup curcuma.

I only wash her every 5 days or so.
The difference is amazing.

Now 10 days later under the scabs where you would expect bald spots she is sprouting black hair (on a brown pony). I expect it to take up to a month to eradicate the scabies totally.
